Metropol Hotel - Calais

Very friendly and cute staff made a difference.

The bathroom was cramped and very dated. The toilet positioning was uncomfortable. Breakfast options were very limited compared to other hotels, and I regret choosing to pay for it here.

It features spotless rooms with 2 separate beds, toiletries, for example.

Clean, nice budget hotel, I liked spotless and huge rooms and amicable staff. There was lovely breakfasts with freshly prepared eggs, yoghurts plus bacon. Favourable and perfect location, a ferry port was minutes from the property. Had brunch in the Family Restaurant, located nearby.

Clean room with comfy beds and a quiet location. The spacious garage for motorbikes was a big plus, too.

The place was fairly clean, I booked the triple room with rear views, everything was first-class. The staff was accommodating and consistently courteous, took good care of everyone. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus. The location of the hotel was magnificent and decent - within walking distance of Second World War Museum. I had a wonderful time.

The staff were not very friendly, didn't expect that coming.

Central location and minutes from a ferry port. Found in the comfortable area:)))

Great Value for Cyclists

We were pleased with the secure garage for our bikes. The staff was friendly, providing quick service and great tips for local eateries. The room felt cozy with a tidy layout-a perfect retreat after a day of cycling. Be sure to enjoy the fresh breakfast options!

Impressive reception area and bar, friendly staff, comfortable room. Location very good, easy to access town centre restaurants and bars plus 10 minutes from ferries.

It was near to the Car Ferry

It was just a great match for a weekend escape in Calais with all in all great value for money. The staff here are friendly and really make you feel welcome, made our stay enjoyable. Make sure to check if they have secure parking available, it's a great feature.

We stay in calais regulary and found this hotel to be a jewel, quality breakfast, great price, comfort and staff couldnt have helped more, good price bar which is rare in france!!

the room was a bit cold. hot water ran out during the first shower but the staff were super helpful. breakfast had good options and the location was perfect for exploring the town

The check in was simple,room comfortable for a one night stay and not expensive.Ideal for our trip to visit Calais and do some shopping and have a few nice meals in the town,The staff were nice and smiley,breakfast service was nice and friendly and tasty...ideal for the short trip.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a quaint property in a very central location. Although its not a luxurious place it is a good value.
